Rejuvaderm – The Queen of Face

October 29, 2020 By admin

Facials are a thing of the past in this modern age, as cosmetic injectables are the most advanced way to smooth facial lines, contour the cheeks, and plump lips for a more rejuvenated appearance. Pure Bridal have teamed up with RN Cosmetic Injector Julie Wuis, also known as “The Queen of Face”, at Rejuvaderm and she gave us the inside tips on what the best treatment options are for our brides to be.

These are the common question that we get from brides:

Q: What are the most common treatments before the wedding day?
A: For a wedding, my brides are most interested in lifted brows with neuromodulators, contoured and lifted cheeks, as well as plump, luscious lips. These areas are at the top of our bride’s list because these treatments will make the most significant impact in photographs. Our brides look contoured, slim, as well as refreshed before their big day.

Q: How long ahead should I do these treatments before getting married?

A: Ideally, if we are doing treatments such as neuromodulators or dermal fillers, it’s best to get the treatment done at least one month before the wedding. This ensures that all potential swelling and/or bruising (although rare) can subside before the big day. This also gives time for any touch ups if needed to ensure it is perfect for the wedding day.

Q: What are the most common side effects of neuromodulatora & dermal fillers?

A: With neuromodulators, there is typically little to no downtime post-treatment. Most clients can resume normal activity except excerise for the day following treatment. Normal side effects for Dermal filler include small amounts of swelling and/or bruising that typically subsides within 2-5 days.

Q: Are there any other treatments you would recommend before the wedding day?

At Rejuvaderm, we also recommend 1-2 days before the wedding to get a “Hydrafacial.” This is a medical facial that infuses the skin with peptides to make it glow and feel rejuvenated before the wedding day. There is no downtime with this facial, so it is a perfect combination with dermal fillers & neuromodulators for brides to look their best.
